Social Walks
Not every dog needs to play with every other dog. But every dog can learn to stay calm and confident around others.
Our Social Walks take place in small, carefully managed groups, creating positive opportunities for dogs to experience each other without pressure. Together, we encourage calm behaviour, appropriate social skills and a stronger focus on you, while respecting every dog's individual comfort zone.
Along the way, you will learn how to better understand your dog's body language, support them through everyday encounters and build confidence together. The result is a calmer, more connected partnership and more enjoyable walks for both of you.

Who are Social Walks for?
-
dog-owner teams who want to strengthen everyday training, basic obedience and social skills in real-life situations
-
healthy dogs aged 6 months and older
-
basic obedience skills and familiarity with marker training and attention reorientation
-
dogs with no previous bite incidents (same goes for the humans, ideally)
What to Expect
-
small groups of 4–6 dog-owner teams
-
practising calm dog encounters (at a distance and in close proximity), changing positions and walking parallel to other dogs
-
learning and reinforcing techniques introduced during one-to-one training, such as alternative behaviours, Click for Look, the harness hold and emergency sit
-
building impulse control and frustration tolerance

improving your observation and timing as a handler
-
developing a better understanding of canine body language
Please Bring

a well-fitting harness

a 5 m lead

high-value treats (don't forget the jackpot rewards!)

water for your dog.

your dog's favourite toy (optional).

a blanket (only needed at the beginning and can be left in your car before the walk starts).
Good to Know

dogs remain on lead throughout the walk

direct interactions between dogs are not the focus of the Social Walk. If appropriate for all dogs involved, they may take place in a controlled way after the training.

Letting dogs play together without structure.

Going for a group walk without a training purpose.

Collecting as many dog interactions as possible.
